It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Cook of Giddings, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Braden Meuth Cook and Dorothy Marie Cook (Hatch); and her nephew Nicholas Clayton Falk. She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Kay Cook Falk of Smithville, Linda Sue Cook Meuth (Bobby) of Pin Oak and David Mark Cook of Pin Oak; her nieces and nephews, Clinton James Meuth (Kathryn "Katie" Ruth) of Pin Oak, Joshua Brandon Meuth (Mary Pearl) of Giddings, Stefanie Faye Meuth Emmons (Justin Dale) of Giddings and Valarie Lynn Meuth Miller (Eugene "B. J." Henry) of Giddings; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anton John Meuth of Pin Oak, Norah Ruth Meuth of Pin Oak, Levi George Meuth of Pin Oak, Everett Franz Meuth of Pin Oak, Braden James Meuth of Giddings, William Cole Meuth of Giddings, Mary Ella Meuth of Giddings, Casen Lane Miller of Giddings, Gage Henry Miller of Giddings and Jillian Rose Miller of Giddings; and her aunt Geraldine Hatch Paquette of Ft. Worth.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings (3950 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942). A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church - PIN Oak (732 FM2104, Smithville, TX 78957).
