With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene Emily Sump (Giddings, Texas), who passed away on February 24, 2019 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Edwin Aschenbeck Sr. and Hulda Aschenbeck (Kriegel); her husbands, Tommie Alexander Sr. and Carlie Sump; her brothers, George, Alvin and Otto Aschenbeck Jr.; and her granddaughter Haley Alexander Singer.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas, Tommie Alexander (Carol) of Victoria and Doug Alexander (Nancy) of Giddings; her stepdaughter Carlene Sump Richie of Mesa, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Steven Gerhardt (Kimberly) of Cypress, Candice Alexander of Giddings, Marcos Alexander (Brandy) of Houston and Tara Steubing (Jacob) of Huntsville. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
