With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leroy Paul Albrecht of Giddings, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Albrecht and Frieda Albrecht (Saegert); and his granddaughter Vanessa Albrecht. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Albrecht of Giddings; his children, Craig "Spook" Albrecht of Ledbetter, Carol Ann Sherman of Elgin, Terry and Donna Elias of Giddings; his grandchildren, Wesley Dansby, Jesse Sherman, Kevin Albrecht (Pamela) and Cheyenne Els (Colt); his great grandchildren, Anthony, Tieson Sherman, Kylie Cook, Riggs Els, Cheyanne, Ashton, Kayleigh Dansby, Unas Sutton and Laiku Danson; and his siblings, Willard, Paul, Milton, Robert Albrecht, Katherine Richter and Alice Birnbaum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation, the Friendship Cemetery Association or to the charity of one's choice.
