“I want to offer my deepest sympathies to Mrs. Clay's family. I retired from teaching at Giddings HS last year, so I knew Mrs. Clay as a substitute. She ate lunch in the teachers'work room, and I always enjoyed talking to her. I was saddened to hear of her passing when I visited GHS this week. She was such a sweet, kind lady. I always think of her when I watch the Masked Singer, a favorite show for both of us. We loved gussing who the singers were. Now she's singing with the heavenly choir.”
