She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carl John Schultz and Bertha Dorathy Schultz (Cords); and her children, Timothy Brand and Rhoda House. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Adolph Albert Brand; her sons, Marcus Brand (Joycelyn) of Apple Valley, David Brand of Winchester and Jonathan Brand of Austin; her son-in-law James "Jim" House of Giddings; her grandchildren, Matthew House of McAllen, Rebekah House of McAllen, Sarah McDow (Kenneth) of Slidell, LA, Christopher Brand of Norfolk, VA and Kristal Mazac (James) of San Marcos; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth House of McAllen, James Mazac of San Marcos, Jayde Inez Mazac of San Marcos, Seth Mazac of San Marcos and Kyle Mazac of San Marcos; and her siblings, Elsie Wolfram of Churchbridge, Saskatchewan, Ruth Brown of South Bend, Indiana and Henry Schultz (Betty) of Mishawaka. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Brand family recommends making memorial contributions to the Lutheran Hour Ministries or to the charity of one's choice.
