He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Ernest Gersch and Olga Gersch (Steglich); his wife Frances Gersch; his siblings, Delbert (Olga Mae Gersch), Walter, Laverne Gersch and Leona; and his brother-in-law Earl Sandoz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Toff (Howard) of Tucson and Cynthia Gersch of Northrup; and his pets, Luna and Maggie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin, the St. Paul Lutheran Church LWML, the Texas Wendish Heritage Society, or to the charity of one's choice.
