With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Edwin Simon of Giddings, Texas, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simon and Estelle Simon (Moose). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Simon of Giddings; his children, Josh Simon of San Antonio, Jennifer Simon of San Antonio and Jacob Simon of San Antonio; his stepchildren, Lorna Blakney of Gilmer, Taylor, Marisa Blakney of Mountain Home, Becky and Jeremey Gabreleski of Giddings; and his grandchildren, Anthony Simon of San Antonio, Kendal Simon of San Antonio, Leighton Gabreleski of Giddings, Charli Blakney of Mountain Home and Carson Gabreleski of Giddings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to support Texas State Parks, to a local animal shelter, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings or to the charity of one's choice.
