With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Elna Rackel (Giddings, Texas), who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis G. Beisert and Minnie Beisert (Hohle); her husband Waldemar Rackel; her siblings, Robert Beisert, Willie Besiert (Ruby), Marvin Beisert (Charlene), Ruben Beisert (Shirley), Corine Iselt, Frieda Schulze (Walter), Leona Schulze, Clara Deal (Rupert), Loraine Tatum (Henry), Esther Exner (Herbert), Helen Besiert and Elnora Medack (Herbert); and her brothers-in-law, Douglas "Joe" Benignus and Alfred Iselt.
She is survived by: her sons, David Rackel (Connie) of Round Rock and Dennis Rackel of Loebau; her granddaughters, Cari Butler (Matt) of Harlingen, Magen Harrison (T. J.) of Nordheim and Kimberly Garcia of Runge; her siblings, Alvin Beisert (Ruth) of Giddings, Alfred Beisert (Betty) of Giddings, Ernie (Bernice Beisert), Gladys Iselt of Loebau, Elna Moerbe (Gene) of Dime Box and Janette Benignus of Dime Box; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Iselt of Dime Box and Alice Beisert of Houston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church General Fund in Loebau or to the charity of one's choice.
