She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Emil Wernecke and Selma Bertha Wernecke (Prellop); her siblings, Herman Wernecke, Erwin Wernecke and Alwine; and her brothers-in-law, Harold Schneider and Clarence Winter.
She is survived by: her sister Lillie Winter of Austin; and her nieces, Janice Schneider of Giddings, Dianne (Clyde Schneider), Sharon (Steve Douglas), Sandra (Pat Reynolds), Suzanne (Jim Sunvison), Cindy (Louis Turi), Cathy (Kirk Jonse) and Carol Winter of Austin. She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, great, great nieces, great, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Train Up a Child Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
