She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Amalia Mittasch (Kalbas) and John Mittasch; her husband Alton Namken; her grandchildren, Jessica Oltmann and Brandon Oltmann; her great grandchild William Snowden; and her brothers, Gilbert Mittasch, Herbert Mittasch (Laura), Johnny Mittasch (Elsie), Willie Mittash (Junelle) and Herman Mittasch (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Gene (Valerie Namken), Linda (Ronnie Oltmann), Kay (Chris Oltmann), Debbie (David Peterson) and Ronnie (Stacy Namken); her grandchildren, Amber (Seth Spacek), Casey Namken (Sarah Hunt) of Manheim, Heather (John Snowden), Jonathan (Sarah Oltmann), Justin (Tricia Peterson), Jordan (Missy Peterson), McKenna (Stuart Haley), Brooks Namken (Jenna Martin) of College Station and Leighton (Daniel Brackin); her great grandchildren, Rayghan, Aaron Vilt of Princeton, Ashby Spacek of Fancy Farm, Kennedi Namken of Manheim, Maddox Namken of Manheim, Shiloh Sowders, Mickaela Snowden of Clare Snowden, J. J, Jasper Snowden of Giddings, Walker Snowden of Giddings, Kyle Oltmann of Grapevine, Timothy Oltmann of Grapevine, Jackson Peterson of West Chester, Ellie Peterson of College Station, Emery Peterson of College Station and Everly Peterson of College Station; and her great great grandchild Charleigh Vilt of Princeton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home - Giddings (3950 E Austin St, Giddings, TX 78942). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church (573 N Main St, Giddings, TX 78942).
Memorials may be made to Martin Luther Lutheran Church Sunday School or to the charity of one's choice.
