It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Leon Baker of Giddings, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Murrell Baker Jr. and Beverly Jean Odom. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baker of Giddings; his daughters, Gabrielle Teinert (Clinton) of Giddings and Caitlyn Zoch (David) of Giddings; his stepchildren, Faith Wishert (Manuel Martinez) of Cuero and Colton Wishert (Ashley) of Leesville; his grandchildren, Conner Zoch of Giddings, Lennox Zoch of Giddings, Logan Teinert of Giddings and Brooklyn Wishert of Leesville; and his siblings, Pauline Cotten (Chris) of Cullen, AL, Travis Curtiss (Megan) of Stockton, CA and Wesley Odom (Tania Guzman-Odom) of Arlington. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Christopher Baker Benefit Account, which has been established at Classic Bank in Giddings, to help the family offset final expenses.
