He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Hinkley of Giddings; his children, Don Couthren (Madison) of Giddings, Eric Couthren of Giddings and Jennifer Sumner (Dustin) of Missouri; his grandchildren, Damian Couthren of Austin, Danisha Couthren of Cedar Creek, Desarae Cavanaugh (Ricky) of Austin, Eric Couthren Jr. of Moody, Emmit Couthren of Giddings, Jahana Couthren of Giddings, Denzel Couthren of Giddings, Brook Sumner of Missouri and Broady Sumner of Missouri; and his siblings, Terry Ewert (Dan) of Mississippi, Coleene Horn (Rick), Mark Hinkley (Lisa) of South Dakota and Don Hinkley (Denisa) of Round Rock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
