He is survived by: his wife Joan Hofferek of Giddings; his son Russell; his daughter-in-law Becky Hofferek of Giddings; his brother Henry Hofferek of Smithville; and his sister-in-law Alice Hofferek of Rosenberg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
