With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Royce Sparks of Gholson, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sparks and Dorothy Sparks (Lehman); and his brother Jerry Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Anna Sparks of Gholson; his son Scott Sparks (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jake Sparks (Kelsey), Jaidn Sparks, Bryan Cole Anderson and Caroline Willenborg; his son Chris Silva (Amy); his grandchildren, Layla Stephens and Pete Silva; his daughter Nituna Diaz (Chris); his grandchildren, Joseph Paris (Candace), Jay Perez (Evelyn), Diana Perez, Tony Garcia, Christopher Diaz, Julio Diaz, Angelina Valenzuela (Matt) and Justice Diaz; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Elijah, Jesse, Jacob, Abel, Alaia, Joangel, Kaz, Ja'Leah, Cecilia, Victoria, King, Matthew, Amia, Liliana, Nathaniel and Trey; his siblings, Jack Sparks (Sherry) and Ronda Sparks (Joe Ash); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Sparks and Michael Sais (Diane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Gholson.
