He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Elias Rampy and Thelma Richardson Rampy; his wife Dorothy Alice; his siblings, Walter David Rampy, Thelma Louise Wilson and Virginia Lee Reeder; his nephew Walter Reeder; his son Bill Alan Rampy; his grandchild Erin Manon Rampy; his great grandchildren, Eva Maya Rampy and Juliet Anais Rampy; his nieces, Shelly Durbin and Deanna Graves; and his nephew John Reeder.
Yet, he would continue to draw off and on over the years including a big resurgence during the COVID pandemic.
