He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Shrewsbury and Mary Shrewsbury; his stepmother Havre Shrewsbury; his former wife Betty Smith of Liberty Hill; his wife Rhoda Fisher; his grandson Michael Meadows; his siblings-in-law, Leona, Toy Cox, Jim Hardin and Lonnie Thomas; his nephew William Robert Shrewsbury; and his nieces, Jo Ann Coleman and Mary Shrewsbury.

He is survived by: his children, Cherry Sue of Liberty Hill and Clarence Wayne of Lashmeet.
