He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jackson and Ora Allman Jackson; his wife Janette Coone; and his siblings, Gertrude Reese, Linnie Dennis, Faye Carter and Odell Jackson (L. O.).
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Joe Jackson (Darla) of Austin and David Brian Jackson of Galveston, Texas; his grandchildren, Daniel Jackson and Katie Jackson; his sister Edna Earle Jackson Roth; his former wife Juanita Wheeler Jackson; and his close friend Lou Dusek.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Liberty Hill Cemetery (16101 TX-29, Liberty Hill, TX 78642).
