It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milborne Ray Ward in Georgetown, Texas, born in Jollyville, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ward and Nancy Ward; his wife Jamie Ward; and his sister Mildred Smith. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Brizendine (Curtis) of Florence, Sheryl Flynn (Jim) of Sunrise Beach, Amy Locke (Jim) of Georgetown and Paul Ward (Shannon) of Pflugerville; his grandchildren, Adam Foster (Christy), Cary Brizendine, Hillary Lincoln (Brandon), Emily Walker (Ethan), Stephanie Jimenez (Mario), Derek Brizendine (Megan), Julie Ward (Kendell), Erin Ward, Harrison Cruz and Olivia Cruz; his great grandchildren, Andrew McDade (Allene), Baylie, Samantha Foster, Wyatt, Tatum Lincoln, Eli, Eric Walker, Amos and Baker Brizendine; and his great great grandchildren, Mazie and Steele McDade.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Florence Public Library.
