She was predeceased by: her father John Thomas; her husband Ralph McGahey; her parent Evia Mae Grier Pate; and her siblings, J. E. Pate, Margie Clark, Jewel McNaron, Wanda Sieg and Nita Long.
She is survived by: her sons, Dan McGahey (Brenda) and Bob McGahey (Deborah); her grandchildren, Greg McGahey (Kris), Stacy McGahey Benge (Jason), Matt McGahey (Shelley), Colin McGahey (Jill) and Ryan McGahey (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Ashlin McGahey Bowman (Matt), Emily McGahey Parks (Seth), Mason Benge, Megan McGahey, Jackson Benge, Abby McGahey, Caleb McGahey, Madelyn McGahey, Avery McGahey, Andrew McGahey, Alyvia McGahey and Jake McGahey; and her great great grandchildren, Finley Bowman and Graham Bowman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
