He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ruth Harris Ruminer; his parents, Charles Rhein Ruminer and Murrel Hedderich Ruminer Scholz; and his brothers, Charles Lee Ruminer and William Lee Ruminer (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Ann Ruminer Hicks (Paul), Richard Craig Ruminer (Kimberlee) and Robert Douglas Ruminer (Anne); his grandchildren, Betsy Hicks, Suzy Foley (James), Molly Kreis (Justin), Jessica Smith (Kalen), Katherine Becvar (Austin), Nikki Bernal (Isaiah), Sam Mullenax (Chelsea) and Jessica Mullenax; and his great grandchildren, Leila, Jenna, Hannah, Addison, Khai, Avery, Jozie, Clayton and Kendall.
