Karen Doran Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Doran in Georgetown, Texas, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 70. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Doran to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy W. Ponton and Gertrude L. Ponton; and her brother William R. Ponton. She is survived by: her husband Francis P. Doran of Georgetown; her sister Sandra L. Layman of West Virginia; and her children, Jim Rizak of Maryland, Dawn Rizak Clay of Ohio and Anthony Doran of Toronto, Canada.. She is also survived by grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
After moving to Georgetown, Karen donated her talents to the Berry Creek Women's Association, the Berry Creek Country Club Cancer tournament, and the Berry Creek Christmas Tour of Homes.
