He was predeceased by: his father Arturo Valverde Soto; and his brother Ignacio Valverde Lopez. He is survived by: his children, Jesus Valverde Jr., Jovani Valverde, Noelia Valverde, Anasirila Valverde, Luiz Angel Valverde and Oswaldo Valverde. He is also survived by His mother, seven siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
