He was predeceased by: his former wife Verlaine Heuertz; and his sons, Kipton "Kip" Heuertz and Brett Heuertz. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Heuertz; his daughters, Denise Kirkham and Ann Marie Mihm (Mark); his daughter-in-law Kristi Heuertz; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Heuertz, Travis Kirkham (Maryanne), Brandon Kirkham, Blake Kirkham, Jackson Mihm and Spencer Mihm.
