She was predeceased by: her father Richard B. Cardona; and her sister Olga Cardona. She is survived by: her husband Charles Scheuer, Jr.; her children, Teri Salazar and Woody Salazar; her grandsons, Austin Salazar (Shellie) and Zander Salazar; her mother Dubelia Cardona; her sisters, Effie Obregon, Alison Diana Torres (Roland) and Bernadette Gibson (Karl); and her nephews, Karl Richard C. Gibson and Seth A. Gibson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament (https://www.iwbscc.org) in Corpus Christi; or St. Helen's Ladies' Club.
