We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2024, at the age of 97, Irene Pyka of Georgetown, Texas, born in Fredericksburg, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Engelhardt and Annie Wienecke Engelhardt; and her husband Pat Pyka of Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her children, Preston (Barbara Pyka), David (Cathy Pyka), Dale (Dorothy Pyka), Martha (Duane Durst), Paul (Kandis Pyka) and Terri (Brad Swearingen).
Memorial contributions may be made in Irene's memory to St. Joseph's Society, Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department, Votive Hospice, or to the charity of your choice.
