She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Castleberry and Reid Castleberry; her husband Ray Shields; her brother Thurman Castleberry; her granddaughter Amy Shields; and her son-in-law Mike Akins.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Akins and Jimmy Shields (Mary); her grandchildren, Lance Akins (Brooke), Jenny Akins, Matt Shields (Shelby) and Michael Shields (Monica); and her great grandchildren, Layla Akins, Michael Akins, Everly Shields, Isla Shields, Charlie Shields and Elliot Shields.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations, in memory of Imogene Shields, be made to Central Christian Church of Nocona, 300 Cooke Street, Nocona, Texas 76255.
