It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Franklin Nation of Georgetown, Texas, born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Luther Nation and Frances Louise Chandler Nation; his daughter Shelly Hansen; and his brother Jack Nation. He is survived by: his wife Nanette; his sons, Frankie and Luke; his grandsons, Daniel Hansen (Alexis) and Andrew Hansen (Melanie); and his great grandchildren, Braylon, Piper, Adelyn and Amelia.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Providence Baptist Church (505 W University Ave, Georgetown, TX 78626). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Ioof Cemetery (1117 E 7th St, Georgetown, TX 78626).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
