With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Carole Hodges (Georgetown, Texas), born in San Diego, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. B. (Dorothy Ewing) and Gwen. She is survived by: her husband Wayne of Georgetown; her children, Diann Hodges of Taylor and David Hodges (Elizabeth) of Missouri City; her grandchildren, Meagan, Connor and Lauren; her brother Patrick Ewing; and her stepsiblings, Dr. Tamara Haygood, Michelle Miner and Greg Miner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ramsey Funeral Home (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Honor & Memorial Cemetery (3800 Raymond Stotzer Pkwy, College Station, TX 77845). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Berry Creek Country Club (30500 Berry Creek Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628).
Memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, an organization that provides housing for wounded warriors, catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
