He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew Brightwell, Sr. and Valda Swink Brightwell; and his sisters, Linda Brightwell Maxcy and Pat Brightwell Whitson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hinson Brightwell; his friend George; and also Larry Hinson.
