She is survived by: her spouse Additionally; her children, Stephen Bates, Rebecca Bates, U. S. Navy (Retired) and Elizabeth Bates Bronkhorst; her son-in-law John Bronkhorst; her grandchildren, Zachary and Caroline Bronkhorst; and her children, Leonecia Perry, Junia Hudson, Michelle, Brie and Judy Mendiata.
