He was predeceased by: his wife Beulah Pauline Columbus; his parents, Sebastian Columbus and Lillian Columbus; his siblings, Michael Columbus, Patsy S. Columbus and Patty Ayers; and his daughter Paula Crow.
He is survived by: his siblings, Philip J. Columbus, Sylvia Davis, Connie Miller (Larry) and Jennie Thrailkill; his daughters, Lillian Orlandi and Patty Berry (Don); his son-in-law Danny Crow (Bernetta); and his grandchildren, Carmen, John Rice of North Carolina, Scott Teague of Arkansas, Jeffrey of Arkansas, Terrian Crow of Arkansas, Jarred of Arkansas, Jennifer Crow of Arkansas, Jordan of Arkansas, Audrey Crow of Arkansas, Jason of Texas, Elizabeth Berry of Texas, Nathan of Texas, Lisa Berry of Texas, Amy of Texas, Emily of Texas and Casey Whittle of Texas. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ramsey Funeral Home & Crematorium (5600 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78633). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:25 PM at the Georgetown Church of Christ (1525 W University Ave, Georgetown, TX 78628). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fuller Life Family Therapy Institute, a nonprofit founded by his granddaughter to provide affordable therapy and training, or to the charity of your choice.
