It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Luvie Jacobsen (Georgetown, Texas), born in Winnemucca, Nevada, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell Jacobsen and Wanda Jacobsen; and his brother Rex Jacobsen. He is survived by: his wife Nedene Jacobsen (Stringham); his children, Juli Eivens (Craig), Parker, Bennett, Philip and Brad Jacobsen (Dominique); his grandchildren, Laura Schnurr (Josh), Calvin Jacobsen, Sam Jacobsen, Matt Jessop and Gabi Jessop; and also Ryan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his honor to the Wounded Warriors Project.
