He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Gattis and Blanche Gattis (Carlson). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Fay Gibbs Gattis; his children, Carl Gattis Jr. (Julie) and Jeanne Reese (John); his grandchildren, Allen Reese, Jacob Reese and Cameron Gattis (Alexandra, Travis Gattis); and his great grandchildren, Loken Gattis and Isaac Gattis.
