She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Hughes and Willie Mae Hughes; and her husband William Earl Sappington (Bill). She is survived by: her son-in-law David Preister (Dave); her daughter Lisa Preister (David); her sisters, Ellen Hulsey (Alfred Hulsey) and Lynda Gilpin; her brother-in-law Wayne Clyma; her aunt Bess Hughes; her nephews, Mark Hulsey (Rebecca), Tobin Gilpin (Kim), Tod Gilpin (Kristen), Gary Clyma, Howard Clyma and Steve Sappington (Anna); and her niece Ann Sappington. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
