He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arthur Edwards, Sr. and Berniece Williamson Edwards; his former wife Judy Rice Edwards; his sisters, Ruthie Edwards Caron and Marilyn Edwards Gilmore; and his siblings-in-law, Hershal Caron, Larry Gilmore, Tommy Strause, Sally Rice and Robin Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Holm Edwards; his nieces and nephews, Annette Boeck (Jeff) of George West, Kim Steelhammer (John) of George West, Bartt Caron (Michele) of Corpus Christi and Brett Caron (Kristi) of Corpus Christi; his sister-in-law Anne Rice; his daughter Letha Thompson (Mike); his grandchildren, Taylor Stolle (William), Shane Thompson (Megan) and Bryan Brysch (Amy); and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Lillian (Steven) and Bethany Spurlock (David).
