He is survived by: his wife Sandra Luera of George West, Texas; his brother Israel Luera of Corpus Christi, Texas; his children, Nelda Rodriguez (Jared) of Corpus Christi and Pedro Luera (Stacey) of San Antonio, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Mark Anthony Hinojosa of Kirkland, Pedro Ruben Luera (Jessica L.) of San Antonio, Aiden B. Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Alana B. Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Peyton N. Luera of San Antonio and Numerous of Texas.
