He is survived by: his daughter Lorena Ortiz; and his siblings, Maria Luisa Ortiz, Azalea Ortiz, Lorenzo Ortiz Jr., Faustino Ortiz (Carlotta) and Arturo Ortiz (Anna). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
