In the sacred silence of farewell, Phillip Anthony is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phillip Anthony's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his parents, Leonel Benino Alvarez and Sylvia Alvarez (Cortez); his sister Kristina Alvarez; his nephew Landon Williams; his stepparents, Julie Cantu and Bernard De Los Santos; and his grandparents, Luis, Maria Cortez, Martha Garcia and Leonel Alvarez, Sr.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. George Catholic Church (304 Crockett St, George West, TX 78022). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the George West Cemetery (517 Cemetery Rd, George West, TX 78022).
