She is survived by: her mother Minerva Valverde (Ybanez) of George West; her siblings, Letisia "Leti" Valverde of George West, Jorge "Corky" of George West and Jesse Valverde of George West; and her close friend Liborio "Lee" Becerra. She is also survived by niece and three nephews, four great-nieces and three great-nephews.
