He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Ferrell and Mona Ganell Ferrell (Evans); and his siblings, Billy, Tim, Donald, Rex, Carson, Doris, Carrie, Effie, Jeanett, Joyce, Leavada, Lillian Faye and Patricia Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Robbie M. Ferrell of George West; his son Michael Shane Ferrell; his siblings, Archie Ferrell (Frances) and Dreama Schulz; his grandchildren, Mayson Ferrell and Mayleigh Ferrell; and his stepgrandsons, Noah Cantu, Nick Cantu and Nathan Cantu. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Galloway & Sons Funeral Home - George West (506 San Marcos St, George West, TX 78022). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the George West Cemetery (517 Cemetery Rd, George West, TX 78022).
