It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet (Martin) Light (George West, Texas), who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlan "Ted" Martin and Letha Martin (Sharp); her husband Donald Light; her son Donald Light, Jr.; and her siblings, Orlan Martin Jr., Carol Sue Elkins (Frank), Nancy Belcher and Denny Martin.
She is survived by: her brothers, Carl Martin (Wanda) and David Martin (Anne); her siblings-in-law, Verna Martin and James Belcher; her children, Kimberly Womack (Michael) and Corey Light (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Jordyn Klement (Allen), Nathan Womack, Dalton Light, Emma Womack and Devon Light; and her great grandchildren, Kara and Luke Klement.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the South Texas Botanical Gardens at 8545 S. Staples, Corpus Christi, Texas 78414.
