She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Salazar and Lucy Chavez Salazar; her sister Esmeralda "Mae" Keener; and her son-in-law Louis Salinas-"Big Lou". She is survived by: her children, Viola Salinas of George West and Albert Valdez (Rosalinda) of Mansfield; her sister Estela Chapa of George West; her niece Brandi Chapa of Beeville; her nephew Joshua Chapa (Sche) of Ardmore, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Erica De La Cruz (Homer) of George West, Austin Valdez (Alexis) of Fort Worth and Kayla Valdez of Dallas; and her great grandchildren, Caiden Salinas of George West, Henslie of George West and Homero De La Cruz III (Trace) of George West.
