He is survived by: his wife Joan McGee Rankin of George West; his children, Dixie Lytle (David) of Beeville, Texas. and Allan Rankin (Penny) of LaPorte, Texas.; his half-sister Jolene Beasley (Doug) of Hamburg, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Tabitha Lytle of Beeville and Derrick Rankin (Tori) of LaPorte; and his great grandchild Brinlee Rankin of La Porte.
