He was predeceased by: his father Edward Morton; and his brother Peyton Morton. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Morton of George West, Texas; his daughter Kristen Gray (Wesley) of Sandia; his grandchildren, Shawn Christiansen, Casey Edstrom and Mandie Jones; his brother Brady Morton of George West; his grandchildren, Lyla Morton, Wesley Gray, Leslie Gray and Grayson Gray; his niece Peyton Morton; and his nephews, Caleb Morton and Kenneth Morton.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (212 TX-72, Three Rivers, TX 78071). A prayer was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brush Country Cowboy Church (1417 South Hwy 37 Access Rd., George West, TX).
