He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morriss Lee and Ila Mae Holdiness Lee; and his sister Dinah Evans. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gale Cass Lee; his son Craig Lee; his close friends, Fred Mosel and Tom Edmonson; his daughter Kelly Cooper (Chris Cooper); his grandchildren, Connelly Cooper (Caitlyn Cooper) and Cameron Cooper (Ashley Cooper); his son Eric Lee (Megan Teel); his grandchild Kristian Morales (Roman Morales); his great grandchildren, Joseph, Elijah, Kaden, Rosie-Kendall Lee and Jadyn Stokley; his daughter Kristi Lee (Jimmy King); his grandchildren, Jaxon Hayles, Brady King, Callen King and Lily King; his daughter Leah Lee; his grandchild Addyson Tamez; and his siblings, Sandra Dworaczyk, Jim Lee and Tom Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gause Baptist Church (106 W Walnut St, Gause, TX 77857). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
