It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Earnest Erwin of Gause, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Erwin and Lorene Erwin; and his siblings, Floyd Erwin, Adele Dirickson, Paulie Erwin, Rosa Erwin Rood, Hardy Erwin, Troy Erwin and Sue Erwin Shelton.

He is survived by: his son Timothy Erwin; his significant other Louise Storemski Erwin; his daughter Mandy Erwin Schaefer (Steven); his grandchildren, Rose and Dean of College Station; his daughter Cathy Jo Erwin-Brown (Jimmy) of Vincennes, IN.; his grandchildren, Ron Allen Charlton of Vincennes, IN, Rachetta Charlton of Vincennes, IN, Damon Kemp (Katie) and Dustin Kemp of Wheatland, IN.; his great grandchildren, David Hawkins, James Hawkins, Mark Jones and Samantha Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Brown and Breanna Brown of Vincennes, IN.; and his siblings, Ruthie Roberts (Robbie) of Hearne, TX, Roger Erwin (Gayleene) of Caldwell, TX and Roland Erwin (Amy) of Gause, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
