He was predeceased by: his parents, J. A. Smith and Mary Smith; and his sisters, Norma J. Kerns and Peggy Ann Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Smith of Gause; his children, Steve Smith (Debbie) of Flatonia and Cyndi Estill (Mike) of Whitney; his grandchildren, Scott Estill (Mindy) of Whitney, Adam Smith (Emily) of Gause and Trista Bonner (Troy) of Denton; and his great grandchildren, Colby Estill, Cutter Smith, Keegan Estill, Colten Smith, Christian Smith and Bishop Bonner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to the Gause Family Cemetery, 411 E. Cherry St., Gause, TX 77857.
