He was predeceased by: his parents, Zilmon Gilmore (Zoo) and Ora Dollins Gilmore; and his sons, Rick and Jim. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ruth; his children, Gail, Kris and Don (Courtney); his stepdaughters, Sarah and Rebekah; his grandchildren, Kelly, Chris, Mikel, Elizabeth, Hayden, Thomas and Erica (Robert); his great grandchildren, Trenton, Kyra, Jackson and Hanna; and his great great grandchild Stevie Lu.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Turnersville Cemetery.
