We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2023, at the age of 81, Vaul Byrd of Gatesville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dock and Letha Ray Cobb Rogers; and her siblings, J. D. Rogers, Lucky Rogers, Elmer Rogers, Irene Rogers and Flo Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Carl "R. C." Byrd; her sister Ruth Waldemarsen (Don); her children, Diana Hydrick (Mike), Debra Isaacks (Paul), Carl Byrd (Penny) and Johnny Byrd (Michelle); her grandchildren, Justin Branham, Sarah Hukel, Tasha LeBlanc, Sean Hydrick, Brent Isaacks, Brandon Isaacks, Teristin Byrd, Amanda Simpson, Brandy Featherston, Brittany Underwood, Courtney Bernard and Delaney Byrd; and her great grandchild Nala.
In lieu of flowers, Vaul's family requests that memorials be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 1506 W. Main Street, Gatesville, TX 76528.
