He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Zapata and Sarah Luevano Zapata; his wife Carolyn Zapata; his siblings, Dora Voss, Josephine Zapata, Anita White, David Luevano and Victor Zapata; and his grandson Barton Warren.
He is survived by: his siblings, Matilda Maynard (Leonard), Madelyn Barnes (James) and Junior Zapata (Cheryl); his sons, Heath Warren (Janette) and Colby Warren; and his grandchildren, Mia Warren, Dustin Warren and Victor Cortez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (2201 Waco St, Gatesville, TX 76528).
